Emily had the chance to go to the 'Mormon prom' on Saturday night. We went to Macy's last week to find a cute formal dress. We found this adorable one that was tea length and had a pink satin sash across the waist.
Emily didn't have any shoes that were formal enough, so naturally, we had to go to the Nordstrom kids section to find some. (What almost 17 year old has to wear a size 2 1/2 in kids?) All the cheap places to buy shoes didn't have anything fancy enough for her dress. . .so she got these cute shoes.
She had so much fun with her friends and she danced the night away! Now she'll have a dress for her senior prom! Hey, we killed two birds with one stone!
