We're back.

We went to Idaho over the weekend for the blessing of Philip's baby. I took TONS of portraits of beautiful Kayden. I just have to get them on the computer and edited. Hopefully in the next couple of days I'll get some on here. (And yes, Philip, I will get you a CD as soon as they're finished you impatient little boy.)

Back to school.

We totally forgot to take pictures of Emily on the actual first day of school, but luckily we got these shots the day before the first day of school.

And Emily will kill me for posting this shot. . .it just shows that we cannot take pictures without acting utterly ridiculous. (Who puts a marigold behind their ear? Clearly, only us.)

Leaving Idaho.

We woke up the morning we were leaving to Andrew and Mikaela. They came in and started horsing around. It was so funny. Andrew kept saying, "Grandma, I don't want you to leave." Mom would say, "We have to leave so we can get back to work," to which Andrew replied, "But I WANT you to stay." Then Emily and I said, "You don't always get what you want kid." We are so mean sometimes. Then Andrew resumed playing with Mikaela on Grandma's lap.



We were packing the car up and they followed us outside. Mikaela thought she was going to climb in the car with us!



We wanted a few pictures of the two kids on the front porch, but the sun was a little bright. Andrew wasn't very happy about it.

In this last picture, Andrew just about had it. It's probably my favorite one. :)
